Started 12 years ago and based on the Coffs Coast, Solid Stone Constructions is an entirely Australian, family owned and locally operated business run by Martin Stautner.

Martin has over 20 years experience in landscape design and construction and feels a strong connection with the Australian bush resulting in Australian plants featuring strongly in his designs.

Stone has always been a part of Martin’s life from growing up amongst and then working with sandstone; to trips around Australia and then overseas to Europe, Asia and the Pacific. These experiences have lead to Martin specializing in his passion - Solid Stone Constructions.

Using locally sourced stone SSC offers sustainable, environmentally friendly, water wise, low maintenance and unique design solutions.
